How can I test a mobile web browser using Appetize?

You can use Appetize to run Mobile Safari on iOS devices, and Mobile Chrome on Android devices.

Many clients use Appetize solely for the purpose of testing mobile websites on an accurate Android or iOS device. 

What about other mobile browsers? 

You may upload additional mobile browsers to your Appetize account for your testing. However, we do not provide support for this ourselves, apart from the high-level guidance below. 

For Android, the APKs may be pulled from a device or some third party websites. Other clients of ours have followed the steps here: https://gist.github.com/oozzal/8646279

For iOS, this same process isn't possible. However, Firefox for iOS happens to be an open source project, and Chromium (which Chrome is based on) is also open source. So, hypothetically, both of those browsers could be built for iOS and uploaded to Appetize. Here are some links:
