Can I install apps from Apple App Store or Google Play Store?

Appetize devices do not include the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Appetize devices do not include the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Customers are required to upload the app files themselves, following our documentation at Uploading Apps.

For Android apps, there are methods outside of Appetize to download APKs from the Google Play Store, or directly from an Android device over ADB, but we do not document or provide customer support for these methods, and it is always the customer's responsibility to upload the app files. 

For iOS, we require the upload of an iOS Simulator build, which is different than the IPA builds which are installed on physical devices. IPA files are not supported on Appetize. More info at https://support.appetize.io/help/can-i-use-an-ipa-file-to-upload-an-ios-app-to-appetize-io.
